Arkan Sazeh; When 7,000 Watches Built an Army of Credibility

Imagine you are tasked with creating not one work of art, but seven thousand. Each with a unique soul, each born from authentic wood and crafted by masterful hands. This was the largest custom watch project in Iran — an all-out battle between scale and authenticity, between speed and quality, between the demands of an industrial giant and the capability of a creative yet determined team. At Roojin, we did not merely accept this battle; we turned it into an epic. How did we manage to create and deliver 7,000 works of art in wood and metal at the height of refinement, while preserving the soul of Iranian art, exactly at the moment we had committed to? This page is not just a project report; it is the story of a monumental co-creation, a flawless logistics operation, and a historic victory proving that “art” can indeed be immortalized on a “grand scale.”

Who Was Arkan Sazeh and What Did It Want?

Arkan Sazeh Company, one of Iran’s largest construction conglomerates, came to us for a grand corporate occasion. They wanted a gift befitting 7,000 of their employees, managers, and business partners. A gift that was not merely a keepsake, but a “badge of honor.” Something that would remain on the desk and, every day, recall the name of Arkan Sazeh. Their budget was fixed, the delivery timeline was tight, and their expectations for quality were infinitely high. We accepted the mission.

The Three Giants We Had to Tame

Immense Scale Versus Artistic Authenticity

How could we create 7,000 timepieces, each with the feeling of a singular work of art? Can art truly be entrusted to mass production? We had to strike the perfect balance between "industrial reproducibility" and the "artistic soul."

A Tight and Ruthless Timeline

From contract signing to delivery day, we had little time. Every day of delay would undermine our credibility and that of the client. We had to design an agile production system that could sacrifice nothing in precision while at peak speed.

The Logistics of 7,000 Delicate Works

Delivering 7,000 timepieces to 7,000 individuals in different parts of the country, with magnificent packaging and without a single scratch. This was the largest logistical operation in Roojin's history.

How We Overcame This Impossible Mission

Scalable Artistic Production System

We divided the production line into artistic stations. Each station had a master craftsman who carried out just one stage of the creation—cutting, finishing, engraving, or assembly. But before anything else, we created a "golden sample" that set the quality standard, and no station was permitted to fall below it. This is how we channeled the artistic soul into the body of a factory system.

Agile Methodology in Production

We divided the project into 10 sprints. Every two weeks, we delivered a batch of 700 pieces and gathered feedback. If even the smallest flaw existed, it was corrected on the spot and didn't spread to the entire project. Speed and quality were managed simultaneously.

Flawless Ceremonial Logistics

For packaging, a team of 20 was specially trained. For shipping, we contracted three postal and courier companies to ensure no corner of Iran was left uncovered. We also set up a temporary call center to answer recipients' questions. Every single timepiece was seen off like an honored guest.
